Ocean Rodeo launched the world’s first true surfing dry-suit in the fall of 2007 – The Pyro Surf. This revolutionary two layer design borrowed the streamlined fit of a neoprene wetsuit and fused it with latest in shell dry-suit technology. The resulting “Fusion” of dry-suit and wetsuit created a new category in cold water thermal protection.

The Fusion concept caused plenty of controversy in the wetsuit dominated surfing world. Initially the question was “can you surf in a dry-suit? Which we have proved over the last two year’s to be a resounding YES!” As our focus shifted from proving the concept, we have now further refined the suit based on feedback from our global Crew of customers and team riders.
