Extreme Kites just posted some pics of the new Royal Era.  Right out of the bag the kite looks really good. The 2008 Eras are awesome kites and the 2009 version looks to be even better.

The rear lines now connect directly to the kite for a smoother, more direct feel. To compensate for this a batten has been added along with a wider diameter leading edge on the wingtips.
