“I started taking my son tandem surfing at two years old after year of swimming lessons. He loved it. So I decided he was ready for a little more action. While he was still two but just before turning three I took him for his first of many tandem kite rides. He holds onto me on his own and I kind of squeeze him between me knees. We ride my custom tandem board I’ve used for 6 years now in Maui.
Our latest tricks are toe edge jumps and wave riding down the line. He likes to bash the lip and jump, no whip of coarse.”
