Those photos are legit! If there is a breath of wind and gas in the boat, you will see these spots. Its beautiful.

This is one event I always like to pimp because once you get down to Cape Charles you’ll experience small town hospitality, see what great hosts you have in Dave & Bo, and of course ride an epic location. So if you’re free, take advantage of Dave’s invitation and head down there. A lot of the spots he’ll take you are normally only accessed with locals knowledge and boat support. They are super accommodating to all skill levels and the beer will be flowing at Kelly’s all night! One tip to you having a good weekend is to leave all your big city anxiety and urgent schedules at home when you roll into Cape Charles….because you are on country time down there! Things start when the wind blows or the dog barks, but nothing happens too fast. If the wind isn’t blowing, grab a kayak and go for a paddle because the waters are gorgeous.
