Got to Kite Point around 11am from DC. Wind was already ripping. Put up my 9, which was the only kite I used this weekend - there wasn't a second, in the entire 30 hours I was on the island, that I could have held down my 12m. Rob, on the other hand, was boosting huge on his 12m Saturday:
Kite point seemed like the place to be Saturday. A bunch of the REAL boys were enjoying the little kicker in the morning:
I was out early after noon and see this telephone repair truck heading down the beach. I'm looking around thinking someone put a kite in the wires. Turns out John Bilderback (a pro Surf Movie maker turned Kiteboarding, currently filming for a new movies 'Lines') rented the truck to get some shots:
Not far behid the truck was the REAL pro guys Sam Bell and Jason Slezak carting in the big REAL ramp. You'll have to wait until the video (my video, or Lines) to see these guys throw it down as I didn't get any still photos.

I'm looking forward to the movie, hoping to find myself in the background of one of the shots  

Sunday the place was the Light House. The break there gets cleaned up a bit form the wind setting up some nice waves. Wind was a stronger than Saturday, I was barley able to hold down the 9m. Brian, Tommy & Matt Nuzzo were in attendance - it was fun watching those guys rip down the line. I kept trying to do what they did without much success. Ended up just boosting most of the day off the kickers:
